Your Role and Responsibilities
- Implement index calculations for major investment banks
- Review and improve colleagues’ index calculation implementation
- Improve the internal index calculation engine, internal tools, libraries and APIs
- Monitor live index computations and publications on Bloomberg and Refinitiv
- Participate in the design of proprietary indices
- Customer support for existing indices
About You
- Recent Graduate with a Masters in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent (possibility of end of studies internship)
- Must have a strong interest in Computer Science and Mathematics
- Rigorous and detail-oriented; we work for customers with high expectations so every detail must be perfect
- Organized
Required Skills
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Good knowledge of financial instruments
- SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Professional level of English and French
Would be a plus to have
- Proficiency using developer tools (IDE, Python toolchain, git, Linux environment, etc.)
- Knowledge of modern financial strategies
- Experience using Golang or other static, strongly typed programming languages
- Microsoft Excel expertise
Compensation
This is a permanent, full-time position located in Paris, France. Possibility of partial remote work. We offer a competitive fixed salary + bonus.
