Junior Quantitative Developer – Internship

Compass is a Swiss company specialized in creating financial indices and quantitative investment strategies. Since 2017, our team has been designing innovative indices for clients and guiding them through the various stages of developing their range of index products. Thanks to our experience, we are one of the most innovative and responsive providers and calculators of financial indices in the market. For our French subsidiary, we are looking for a junior quantitative developer for an end-of-study internship.

Your Role
  • Maintain and enhance the index calculation environment.
  • Understand new indices and implement their calculation within the existing architecture.
  • Monitor the publication of strategies/indices on Bloomberg and Refinitiv platforms.
  • Participate in R&D on new indices/strategies developed by Compass.
  • Provide support to our clients.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A graduate of a Master’s degree program (engineering school or university), with solid knowledge in computer development and mathematics.
  • Knowledge of basic mechanisms of financial products (futures, options and other derivatives).
  • Strong proficiency in Python is essential.
  • Fundamentals of NoSQL databases (MongoDB) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg and Refinitiv APIs is a plus
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Desire to join an innovative startup in the financial domain.
